LPE Research Project
While I was studying abroad at VIA University College, we took a break from our main project to pursue a research opportunity for a topic of our choosing. As much of our project focus was centered around sustainability, I was captivated by Bjarke Ingel’s Group (BIG)’s Plan for the Planet, which is an academic study on how architecture and design could theoretically provide the same quality of life for countries around the world that is similar to Denmark. It made me think about Canada, given how vastly different it is from Denmark in size, population, history, and politics. In this article, I explored Denmark and Canada, and with optimism in mind, proposed a “solution” for how we could reach our intended net-zero goals in 2030. This was a really interesting project, and it was cool to dive down different rabbit holes in my research. Feel free to check it out by clicking on the image above.
