About Me

Leo Truant

My name is Leo Truant and I am currently a second year student at SAIT in Architectural Technologies.

My architectural journey began right out of high school. I started SAIT's continuing education program; AutoCAD Certification of Completion. After the year ended, I attended Mount Royal University for two semesters in Open Studies. I took a variety of courses, one of which was "Intro to Architecture". Taking this course inspired me to lean towards architecture - as I was enthralled in the intellectual study about building philosophy and design. While I attended MRU, I had several opportunities to connect with notable architects/ interior designers in Calgary, and personally interviewed them to become more clear eyed about the world of design.

Eventually I landed in SAIT’s Architectural Technologies program. After I completed my first year an exchange study abroad opportunity was presented to me. I graciously accepted, and I am now currently taking one semester of Architectural Technologies /Construction Management at VIA University College in Horsens, Denmark!

My hobbies include boxing, hiking, drawing, and photography.

I also have a cat named Nala, who is currently 4 years old.
